Once upon a time, a long long time ago, two little pyrates had an idea: What if they sang pyrate songs AND were pyrates at the same time? It hadn’t really been done before, but these little pyrates were young and drunk and so they found some other little pyrates and formed a band. Then they found a few more, lost a couple, found another, lost another, found a couple more, lost another, lost a bunch and, at last, grew and became the big pyrates we know as The Pyrates Royale.
Way back in 1996 (the same year as the Spice Girls) they began their first recording: “Hello, Sailor”. This would go one to be the single largest collection of leftover Cd’s in the garages and under the beds of all the pyrates.
So, like so many years before, the bigger pyrates had an idea: “What if they remastered their original recording for the upcoming silver anniversary jubilee of the original recording, and the gala celebration to be held at Government House in Kingston, Jamaica during the next year and without the permission of the Royal Governor” As requested by the Pyrates Royale Shipping & Salvage, in conjunction with the esteemed lower houses of hogwarts, House Barbossa and House risen sun, John of Houseman and Hugh Laurie as This Old Doctor House. And so, here it is. In all its glory. A monument to merchant capitalism if there ever was one. We hope you enjoy every second of it, again. And thanks for not suing us.
